Mich's Debut

On Monday, January 23, 2012, Mich turned 18.
Let there be pictures! :D
I have tons more but many of them didn't come out right.

I didn't like my dress but hey, I couldn't let that keep me from enjoying the party. :D
Mich had the typical 18 candles, 18 roses and 18 treasures; 'lovely' doesn't even begin to describe it.
It kind of made me regret not preparing enough for when I had mine.

We got home pretty late that night; near morning, actually. It was a tedious journey home. I even tripped on my dress, believe it or not. The complementary mugs she gave out broke my fall and I had received but a scratch, but we arrived home with one less mug. |: It was upsetting cause I really liked it. Poor thing got shattered into a million bits upon impact with the floor.

Arise Davao

It has come to my attention that I am incapable of properly crossing my eyes. HAHA. Now, why don't we break down what happened during the time I was gone, shall we? Let's see just how far back I can actually remember. :))

January 14, 2012

We had NSTP on this Saturday, like we always do on Saturdays, and we began the first day of our fieldwork. :D We taught children! :D Our purok (which means subdivision, I think) leader hadn't quite settled the definite list of prospect students yet so we had to conjure up a list of students all on our own. So, the children lined up for registration and boy, was the turn out amazing. We ended up taking in 70 children when we were only prepared for 40. Admittedly, I was partially to blame. I helped record names and I just couldn't bring myself to say no to them when we reached the cut-off point. LOL.

I have a stubborn soft spot for children, you see, and it would have broke my heart to have to deny any of these kids. I was delighted to be immersed in a sea of children but I felt a horrid surge of distress towards the end. LOL. There were just too many of them and as much as I love children, their numbers were just overly intimidating, to say the least. It was all rather overwhelming.

Although, it was all in good fun and I arrived home tried yet beyond satisfied. After about an hour or so of rest, Jason and I attended a free concert. :D

It was loads of fun. :D And hence, the reason behind this blog post's title. I have three pictures cause I only remembered that I had my camera with me when everyone started taking pictures at the end. "Aww, I wish I bought my camera. Oh wait, I did". LOL, FAIL.

January 15, 2012

These were the only things I remember doing. LOL.
Photoshop session with Ron! :D

I'll blog about NSTP this week soon but right now, I have to make my way to Jezreel's to get ready for a debut we'll be attending this evening. I've so many things to prepare. :))

Spirited Awaaaaaay

I've been having such awful dreams lately, from killer dolls to psychopathic children. And, what's worse is that people dear to me get hurt. It's unfair that I can only vividly remember my dreams when they're bad, never good. Did you know that, according to Wikipedia, studies of dreams have estimated that about 75% of dream content or emotions are negative?

But anyway, these are some of the drawings I've done in the past two weeks. :D

*Hi Joey, This is Bien! :D
"Hi joeeey(high pitch), This is not james."

HAHAHA. My classmates are cool. I was editing this blog post in class and Bien and James decided to leave me a message in the little time I was away.

And now, moving on to them drawings! :D

Ron was going to get his 'O' level results so I drew this up to wish  him the best of luck. And, I don't know, I watched Spirited Away that same day so I suddenly decided to draw, it might not be very obvious, Chihiro, the lead kid in the animation. :D

LOL. It turned out so different from my reference. :))

As for these, cleaning around, I found old sketches of mine back when I was in primary/elementary school. I redrew them. :D All of them need a drastic costume though but, eh, I was satisfied enough with these. :D When I have the time, I'd gladly work on them further and color and stuff. :)
